Home / What We Do
Two responsibilities, carried out across both branches of the school we hold in trust.
Scholars Educare — a school in South Mumbai teaching from Pre-Primary through Standard 10 (SSC) across its Khadak and Dongri branches — operates under this Trust.
That means the Trust is legally and financially answerable for the institution. It appoints and oversees its leadership, approves its budgets, and is responsible for the standards to which it is run.
The school governed by this Trust.
The Trust directs its funds at the material conditions of learning — the things a school cannot teach well without.
Building, furnishing and maintaining classrooms across both branches so that every child has a proper place to sit and learn.
Equipping science and practical-learning spaces, and keeping that equipment current, safe and usable.
Funding the library, reading materials and textbooks that support learning beyond the lesson.
Computers, displays and teaching technology, so lessons are not limited by the tools available.
Upkeep of premises and facilities, so the school environment remains safe and fit for purpose.
Planned investment in facilities as the school grows and as teaching needs change.
As a registered public charitable trust, our income may be applied only to our charitable objects. Trustees serve without remuneration, and the Trust maintains the accounts and filings required of it under law.
Donations to The Scholars Education Trust are eligible for tax deduction under Section 80G. If you would like to contribute to our work, we would be glad to speak with you.
